Home sales surged this past year in November. Property sales were up 21% from November 2015. In December of 2016, in League City alone, 123 homes were sold with sales prices ranging from $97,650 to $776,000. Somebody must have had a nice Christmas! Houston's average price in November was up by 7.2% from about 261k to roughly $281k.

On another note, Sales among homes over $500,000 grew by 33% suggesting a strength in the economy according to Houston Realtor Magazine. Looks like 2017 is going to be a great year.

Personally, December this year was my busiest month. I have been a long believer that people like to move in December. The homes are easier to sell in December since they are always decorated so cheerfully. Everyone does a deep clean before they decorate which helps sell.
